Everybody's gettin' down tonight
In the Heartbreak Club while the moon is bright
Hear the blues band playin' their slow lament
See the mournful patrons dance their dark torment
The air is smoky and the lights are low
And the deadbeats cry with every drum beat blow
Everybody's gettin' down tonight
In the Heartbreak Club while the moon is bright
One woman is drinking a bottle of tears
Topping it off with a cocktail of fears
And the man at the bar wipes the glasses with woe
And frowns at the misers as they come and go
Everybody's gettin' down tonight
In the Heartbreak Club while the moon is bright
There's a junk round the backstreet injecting depression
Wondering when his heart will make an impression
Upon his dear sweetheart who's up on the dancefloor
With her tongue down the throat of another manwhore
Everybody's gettin' down tonight
In the Heartbreak Club while the moon is bright

you have value; you are important; choose to be the best you; you can be (just a thought)
Anyhow, there is only one word that I would have written differently. Last stanza, first line: consider the word junk instead of drunk. Just a suggestion of course.
I really like the open metaphore of the club. Job well done I say !

I wish there really was a Heartbreak Club. Misery does love company.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

But that was the problem with my dreams. They were always too realistic.
Ill stick to my faux crème doughnut instead of my chocolate fondant
